FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano (Italian Environment Fund) was created through the determination of men and women who have decided to DO something concrete for their country.
A national non-profit foundation, since 1975 FAI has saved, restored and opened to the public important examples of the Italian art and nature heritage, thanks to the generous help of the many, many individuals and companies that support our work. Today FAI manages and keeps alive - forever and for everyone - castles, villas, historical parks, nature areas and landscapes of pristine beauty.
This is FAI's mission: to promote in concrete terms a culture of respect for Italy's nature, art, history and traditions, and to protect a heritage that is a fundamental part of our roots and our identity.
It is a never-ending task that allows no rest, and for the future we are determined to do even more: that is why we need everyone's help - yours, too. Thank you!
